A strawberry farm.

The beauty of nature!

A Sunday drive out, as it is still raining here today and we are baby sitting the new Egyptian goose goslings.

So, I will show you a section of the wine farm where they are planiting and growing strawberry's.
Many of the farms over here are divided into different sections of produce, most notably fruits, but there are others that have livestock sectors. So we have a plethora of venues to forage in with my camera.
Come and have a look.

Did I tell you that they grow strawberries here?

Here is another land that is in the planting preparation.

Ever seen a grape vineyard in winter? Normally this land is lined with beautiful green leaves, but during winter they allow the land to rest.

Thankfully the drought is over and all of the streams are flowing.

Finally a colorful shot of the winter sun lighting up the grape vines.

So yes, the history of this area is fascinating and it is amazing how the area has changed over the centuries. Originally a couple of very large farms, but then development started and today our town is on a section of one of the old farms.
New housing developments are springing up all over the place and soon the population size will warrant the declaration of the town as a city.
Then it will be time for us to get out of here and to move to another small town.
Such is life.

And That's All Friends!
