Hola querida comunidad de Hive, hoy vengo hablarles sobre una película la cual vi, gracias a qué leí el libro con y quería ver alguna de su adaptaciones cinematográficas, estoy hablando de “Orgullo y Prejuicio” una reconocida obra Literaria que hace poco hice reseña aquí en hive, cabe destacar que de esta novela existes muchas Adaptaciones tanto de películas como de mini series hasta incluso parodias pero yo elegí la obra del 2005.

Hello dear community of Hive, today I come to talk about a movie which I saw, thanks to what I read the book with the name and wanted to see some of his film adaptations, I'm talking about "Pride and Prejudice" a recognized literary work that I recently reviewed here in hive, note that this novel exists many adaptations of both films and mini-series to even parodies but I chose the work of 2005.

La película de “Orgullo y Prejuicio” dirigida por Joe Wrigth está protagonizada por Keira knightley (como Elizabeth Bennett) y Matthew Macfadyen (como Mr. Darcy) . Algo que destacó del elenco es su parecido físico exceptuando unos claros ejemplos como Collins que era un hombre alto y un poco más apuesto al que presentaron en el libro o de Mary que en el libro dice que es la hermana menos agraciada pero en la película es todo lo contrario aunque son detalles menos ¿Por qué elegí está adaptación? Porque Keira físicamente es mi Elizabeth perfecta y tiene muy buenas reseñas aunque daré mi opinión al respecto. No esperaba una copia exacta del libro realmente ya no espero eso de adaptaciones lo que me gusta que respeten un poco es la esencia del mismo ya que es lo que nos gusta a los espectadores y creo que este es un ejemplo de como cambiar o añadir cosas sin quitar su significado.

The movie "Pride and Prejudice" directed by Joe Wrigth stars Keira Knightley (as Elizabeth Bennett) and Matthew Macfadyen (as Mr. Darcy). Something that stood out from the cast is their physical resemblance except for a few clear examples such as Collins who was a tall man and a little more handsome than the one presented in the book or Mary who in the book says she is the less graceful sister but in the film is the opposite although they are less details Why did I choose this adaptation? Because Keira physically is my perfect Elizabeth and she has very good reviews although I will give my opinion about it. I didn't expect an exact copy of the book, I don't really expect that from adaptations anymore, what I like is that they respect the essence of the book because that's what we, the viewers, like and I think this is an example of how to change or add things without taking away its meaning.

Me gustó la escenografía si nos transporta a la época donde transcurre la historia, algo que me pareció interesante fue que desde un principio nos quiere brindar o aclarar las diferencias de clases entre Elizabeth y Darcy ya que a pesar de que la familia Bennett es una familia campestre tiene dinero no veo la necesidad de hacer eso pero no me desgarrado. Por otro lado ver las hermanas menores de Elizabeth ( Kitty y Lydia) me hizo ver lo irritante que son aunque supongo que era la idea brindarle esa cualidad por otro lado me gustó la actualización de Rosamund Pike como Jane y incluso me gustó más esta versión que la del libro, por otro lado los padres Bennett tienen sus diferencias el padre ( siento este mi favorito en el libro) se ve como un hombre un poco deprimente y llegaron a pasar su gran sarcasmo a Elizabeth en la película.

I liked the scenography if it transports us to the time where the story takes place, something that I found interesting was that from the beginning it wants to give us or clarify the class differences between Elizabeth and Darcy because although the Bennett family is a country family has money I do not see the need to do that but it did not tear me. On the other hand seeing Elizabeth's younger sisters ( Kitty and Lydia) made me see how irritating they are although I guess it was the idea to provide that quality on the other hand I liked the update of Rosamund Pike as Jane and I even liked this version better than the one in the book, on the other hand the Bennett parents have their differences the father ( I feel this my favorite in the book) comes across as a bit of a depressing man and they got to pass their great sarcasm to Elizabeth in the movie.

Ahora lo importante de aquí los protagonistas, Elizabeth es un poco más suave por decirlo así ya que en el libro es más prejuiciosa y a mí parecer terca, me gustó su química y la verdad no tengo queja de ella por otro lado Darcy es un poco más introvertido o verse de ese modo en la película aunque algo que me atrajo fue su acento inglés ¡Dios! Si es Darcy aunque aún le falta algo que no se que es. Lo que hablo de respetar la esencia del libro me llegó a referir por sus maravillosas frases que sin duda son las que marcan el libro o sus conversaciones aunque se dan en diferente momento y lugar en la película, algo que si no me llegó a gustar es el tiempo cronológico nunca nos llegan decir cuánto tiempo paso de este suceso al otro ya que a diferencia del libro sucesos que pasan en varios días como la visita de Elizabeth a los Bingley sucede en un día en la peliu auqne es norma debieron poner al espectador en contexto del tiempo, por otro lado las cosas que cambiaron fueron en mi opinión unas para bien y otras para mal, ame la primera declaración de amor de Darcy fue mucho más romántica y visualmente hermosa sinceramente me enamoré de esa escena.

Now the important thing here is the main characters, Elizabeth is a little softer so to speak since in the book she is more prejudiced and to me seems stubborn, I liked their chemistry and I really have no complaints about her on the other hand Darcy is a little more introverted or look that way in the movie although something that attracted me was his English accent God! Yes it is Darcy although she still lacks something I don't know what it is. What I mean about respecting the essence of the book I came to refer to his wonderful phrases that certainly are those that mark the book or their conversations although they occur at different times and places in the film, something that if I did not come to like is the chronological time never get to tell us how much time passed from this event to the other because unlike the book events that happen in several days as Elizabeth's visit to the Bingley happens in a day in the movie auqne is standard should have put the viewer in context of time, on the other hand the things that changed were in my opinion some for better and some for worse, I loved Darcy's first declaration of love it was much more romantic and visually beautiful sincerely I fell in love with that scene.

En conclusión la película vale la pena, creo que es una buena adaptación y como una persona que le gustó la esencia del libro acepta que la película a su manera la preservó, aunque claro está es mi humilde opinión espero si no la han visto la pierna ver, está disponible en Netflix y está buena para pasar un buen momento y emocionarse de nuevo con la historia de amor entre el Orgullo y el Prejuicio. In conclusion the movie is worth it, I think it is a good adaptation and as a person who liked the essence of the book accepts that the movie in its own way preserved it, although of course it is my humble opinion I hope if you have not seen it I hope you have seen it, it is available on Netflix and is good to have a good time and get excited again with the love story between Pride and Prejudice.
