Jakarta - West Java International Airport (BIJB) or Kertajati Airport in Majalengka, West Java will soon be completed. The plan of soft launching Kertajati Airport in May, and will be used flight pilgrims in July.
According to the Director General of Air Transportation, Agus Santoso, the government has already submitted to the world Indonesia has an international airport other than Soekarno-Hatta in Tangerang, Banten.
"Landing at Kertajati as of March 1 we have announced to the whole world that there is a new airport in Kertajati and it will be flown in general and later the first flight will be planned for hajj departure from Jabar, some in Kertajati partly in Soetta," said Agus at the Ministry of Coordination Kemaritiman, Jakarta, Friday (9/3/2018).
