This week we could not forget our beloved community of Pitahaya where all this project began and where the dining room for grandparents and children continues to function despite the shortage and crisis that the country suffers.
In this opportunity we collaborated with the foundation "Operative solidarity" who take to various parts of the country a project called " solidarity cup " which seeks to provide the youngest a weekly supply of oatmeal glasses to allow a better intake of nutrients and vitamins.
Esta semana no podíamos olvidar a nuestra querida comunidad de Pitahaya en donde todo este proyecto inició y en donde el comedor para abuelos y niños sigue funcionando pese al desabastecimiento y la crisis que sufre el país.
En esta oportunidad colaboramos en conjunto con la fundación "Operativo solidaridad" quienes llevan a diversas partes del país un proyecto llamado "Vaso solidario" el cual busca brindarle a los más jóvenes una dotación de vasos de avena semanal para permitir una mejor ingesta de nutrientes y vitaminas.
To support this activity we had 14 kilograms of Cambur which were the ideal complement to provide food to these young people, remembering that unlike other countries, in Venezuela fruits and vegetables are one of the most accessible foods at a low price.
In this way we assist the community and support the foundation Soy Solidario in this work receiving the satisfaction of seeing smiling these young people who, because their families do not have the resources to sustain their daily food intake, come to this dining room to sleep without an empty stomach.
Para apoyar en esta actividad dispusimos de 14 kilogramos de Cambur los cuales fueron el complemento ideal para brindarle un alimento a estos jóvenes, recordando que a diferencia de otros países, en Venezuela las frutas y verduras son uno de los alimentos más accesibles a un bajo precio.
De tal forma asistimos a la comunidad y apoyamos a la fundación Soy Solidario en esta labor recibiendo la satisfacción de ver sonreir a estos jóvenes quienes al su familia no poseer los recursos para sustentar su ingesta diaria de alimentos, acuden a este comedor para poder dormir sin el estómago vacío.
