Today backs day in the gym. Also i am walking arroud. this time i walked to the market, then to the bank and finally to the Center of the nieghborhood.
In the Center you can find this archtectural jewell. It's the bulding of Saint Claire of Asis, in Santa Clara Coatitla Town.
The building was finished in the XIX century. It was built in the placer of the previous temple, as a simbol of gratitude forma the miracles received by Saint Claire, by imposing económica bonanza on it's originales inhabitants.
Both, the ancient church and the actual building was cemented over an a first mexica (azteca) piramyd. Today you can find evidence of it, in the actual walls of the construcción.
The lines of the building are neoclasic, topped whit bakaustrafes, and that is the symbol of the Great Architect Manuel Tolsa. The white color of the building represent the silver metal, and in fact, the front of itself was designed in a amazing plateresque style.
