My Actifit Report Card and Update: February 13 2020

Hi Everyone,

Happy Valentine's Day. I am posting my Actifit Report a day early as I might be tied to the house for the next couple of days if Cyclone Dennis shows up. We have had some interesting weather over the past week. We had storms over the weekend. Then we had some light snow in the week. I haven't seen snow in a few years, so I snapped a few photographs to share. See below.

In terms of activity, Thursday became my Friday. I got my shopping and took Mango the dog to the lake. As the weather has been bad, this was one of the few opportunities I have had to take him to the lake. Altogether a good count day but a pretty low count for the week.

Content Update

The initial plan was to write about housing. However, I got side tracked and wrote about the Super Bowl. I have written about football in regards to strategy. I have made a video about controlled opposition and briefly covered the possibility of rigging sports events. A YouTube video caught my attention. The video highlighted many inconsistent refereeing decisions. I took the opportunity to explore the game further. In the post, I explain why the incentive to rig games exists as well as how it could be done without involving too many people. I felt it was the perfect time to write this post because of the recent Super Bowl and the readily available evidence of bad refereeing decisions.

My next post will be about housing. I will discuss how house prices can remain affordable or become more affordable. I will attempt to apply the prevent, solve or manage approaches that I have previously used. This post will likely take most of the week.

Valentine's Day

Today is Valentine's Day. My posting is more coincidence than intended. I am not a fan of the day. It feels a little forced and in many cases quite tacky. I read somewhere that 10% of marriage proposals occur on Valentine's Day. I believe the word 'only' was used in the title. I think 10% is incredibly high considering there are 365 days in a year to propose on. My advice is to be a little more original. Go and propose on a day that has some personal meaning to you and the person you are proposing to.

I am planning on watching the movie 'My Bloody Valentine'. I think Valentine's Day makes a great second Haloween. Why have romance when you can have blood and gore.

That wraps up my Actifit Report and Update. Have a great weekend. Try to stay out of the bad weather if there is any coming.
