Chalk drawings - freedom to express yourself on Halloween
Today we enjoyed a relaxing walk along the canal to our favourite home ed group meet up.
Tayler found a pond skater insect on the calm canal water and I enjoyed the tranquility of the journey.
We played all sorts of games and Willow enjoyed the resources there but the best thing was the chalk drawings!
Tayler has the most fun and by the end of the day, the floor was covered! He made a ‘maze’ or ‘map’ around which included the ‘go’ square that is friend wrote for him and a treasure chest at the end. It was impressive.
A spot of trick or treating once we got back and the kids are now fast asleep!
