Types of Aahaar Jharkhand Ration Cards

Jharkhand provides four types of ration cards which are as follows:

General Priority (Priority and non – Priority Cards) – These cards have replaced Below Poverty Line (BPL) and Above Poverty Line (APL) cards respectively.

Antodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) Ration Card – This scheme is for the poorest of the poor in the rural and urban areas.

Annapurna Yojana Card (AY Card) – This type of card is issued only to the poorest of the poor people whose age is 65 years or above.

State Priority Ration Cards (SPRC) – These ration cards are issued to people who need serious treatment due to the serious illness.

How to Apply for Ration Card in Jharkhand

Fill out the form properly and submit the application form along with the required documents to the Block Level Supply Officer or the District Level Supply Officer

How to Check the Application Status of the Ration Card

Once applied, you can also check the status of the application by following the below mentioned steps:

Visit the official website of the Jharkhand Government i.e. http://aahar.jharkhand.gov.in/

Click on the option “Application Status”

Fill in the required details like Ration Card ID or Number which is the acknowledgement number which you get after the submission of the Ration Card Application

Click on “Submit” option

Once you click on the submit button, you will get all the details regarding the Jharkhand Ration Card and its status will be displayed on the screen.
