Started the bracelet by making flat knots in the following way: First I took the right strand, passed it over the base, made a P shape, then took the left strand, passed it over the right strand (which was on the left side), then passed it over the base and pulled it through the inside of the right strand (the P shape). Holozing Fan Art | The flying dragon Drazing meets a friendly Forest Healer 馃崁
The first step when starting my illustration was to create the main sketch; I always do this to get a clear idea of the characters I鈥檓 going to illustrate, their proportions, and other details. In this case, I drew the Forest Healer standing right in the middle of a tree-lined path, raising her left hand slightly as if trying to reach the little dragon flying right beside her. Holozing Fan Art | Wrackoo rides a fierce and grumpy Verdarox dragon 馃尶
As is my usual practice with all my drawings, I like to start with a structural sketch that establishes the basic shape and pose of the characters. In this case, I sketched the grass dragon (Verdarox) in full-body form, standing on two legs, while the smaller one (Wrackoo) clung to its neck. I started by sketching the character as a thumbnail to decide on the pose and composition of the image. Finally, I cleaned up the lines, but without creating a final line art. I then created a colour palette similar to the reference image and applied a fill layer to the character, using a grey base colour to serve as a layer mask.
