¡Muy Buenas Comunidad de Movies & TV Shows, Bienvenidos a Mi Post N° 16, Me emociona mucho esta iniciativa que tuvo Movies & TV Shows de abrir un concurso con temática de Halloween, a pesar de no ser fans del género de terror/suspenso, siempre que llega este mes suelo realizar un maratón de películas y series junto a mi hermano, por lo general son películas con un terror leve donde no me asuste tanto, siempre cambiamos las pelis para no ver las mismas; pero las que colocaré en este post son las que solemos repetir mucho en nuestro maratón de Halloween.!
Hello Movies & TV Shows Community, Welcome to my Post N° 16, I'm very excited about this initiative that Movies & TV Shows had to open a Halloween themed contest, despite not being fans of the horror/suspense genre, whenever this month comes I usually do a movie and series marathon with my brother, usually they are movies with a mild horror where I'm not so scared, we always change the movies to not watch the same ones; but the ones I'll put in this post are the ones we usually repeat a lot in our Halloween marathon!
Muchas veces solemos estar muy indecisos para escoger buenas películas o buenas series para hacer un maratón de Halloween, es por eso que decidí sumarme a esta iniciativa y realizar un post donde recomendaré las películas y series que no pueden faltar en el maratón que siempre realizo con mi hermano. Many times we tend to be very hesitant to choose good movies or good series to make a Halloween marathon, that's why I decided to join this initiative and make a post where I will recommend the movies and series that can not miss in the marathon that I always do with my brother. Without further ado, let's get started!
Hechizo de amor fue estrenada en 1998, es una película de fantasía/romance con una duración de 1 h 44 m; fue dirigida por Griffin Dunne y tiene un reparto de gran nivel que es encabezado por Sandra Bullock y Nicole Kidman, Esta película es una buena opción para aquellos amantes de las historias de brujas con toques de romance.

This movie will take us along with sisters Sally and Gilliam on a roller coaster of magic, tragedy, sisterhood and love; the life of these two girls will not be easy, as their family carries a weight of a curse on their shoulders, this curse will haunt Sally who tries to get out of her comfort zone and away from her family to finally live with the love of her life.
Hechizo de amor es una película que no puede faltar para el maratón de Halloween y es la primera que solemos ver para ir calentando motores, es una peli entretenida con una trama tranquila que no tiene ni bajones ni subidas; a pesar de hablar sobre magia y brujas no profundizan mucho en el tema, pero muestran puntos interesantes sobre algunos hechizos que tanto Sally, Gilliam y sus tías lanzan en la película. Los personajes son muy buenos y los actores y actrices que le dan vida son increíbles, pero, realmente, Sandra Bullock (Sally) y Nicole Kidman (Gilliam) se roban el show, cada una interpretan personajes completamente diferentes, pero tiene una conexión que hace que este duo sea digno de ver. Mi Puntuación para esta película es dé.
Practical Magic is a must-see movie for the Halloween marathon and it is the first one we usually watch to warm up, it is an entertaining movie with a quiet plot that has no ups and downs; despite talking about magic and witches they don't go too deep into the subject, but they show interesting points about some spells that Sally, Gilliam and their aunts cast in the movie. The characters are very good and the actors and actresses that bring them to life are amazing, but, really, Sandra Bullock (Sally) and Nicole Kidman (Gilliam) steal the show, they each play completely different characters, but have a connection that makes this duo worth watching. En esta película veremos a Laura, una mujer de 37 años que decide regresar al orfanato donde creció y así volver abrirlo, pero esta vez como un centro para niños con discapacidad y es así como Laura junto a su esposo Carlos y su pequeño hijo Simón comienzan con la mudanza. Días después Simón comienza a jugar con un amigo misterioso y esto desencadena una serie de sucesos que llevaran a la desaparición de Simón, Laura comenzara a descubrir oscuros secretos que la ayudaran a conseguir a su pequeño, pero a su vez se dará cuenta sobre un trágico accidente que ocurrió en su niñez y que tuvo consecuencias muy graves para sus compañeros en el orfanato.

El Orfanato es más una película de suspenso que de terror, tiene sus momentos de tensión y sustos que te ponen los nervios de punta, pero no es una película muy fuerte y se puede disfrutar tranquilamente. Esta es una de mis favoritas de este género y me gusta mucho que sea una película con una trama que se va construyendo poco a poco y que te da esa sensación de estar en esa casa gigante con Laura, El orfanato tiene buenos personajes y con historias que se van entrelazando a medida que va pasando la película; tiene una trama que no solo se enfoca en el terror, sino que también te muestra el amor maternal y la desesperación de una madre tras la desaparición de su pequeño. Lo que menos me gusto fue que quizás es algo lenta y siento que el aspecto de Thomas fue realizado sin cuidado y con pocos detalles; me hubiera gustado que el aspecto del fantasmita principal hubiese sido más tenebroso. Mi Puntuación Para Esta Película es dé.
The Orphanage is more of a thriller than a horror movie, it has its moments of tension and scares that get on your nerves, but it is not a very strong movie and can be enjoyed quietly. This is one of my favorites of this genre and I really like that it is a film with a plot that builds little by little and gives you that feeling of being in that giant house with Laura, The Orphanage has good characters and with stories that are intertwined as the film goes by; it has a plot that not only focuses on terror, but also shows you the maternal love and desperation of a mother after the disappearance of her little one. What I liked least was that perhaps it is a little slow and I feel that the appearance of Thomas was carelessly done and with few details; I would have liked the appearance of the main little ghost to have been spookier. My Score For This Movie is give.
Abracadabra es una película de fantasía/terror de Disney que fue estrenada en el año 1993, su director fue Kenny Ortega y su reparto estaba encabezado por 3 increíbles actrices Sarah Jessica Parker, Bette Midler y Kathy Najimy, ellas dieron vida a 3 brujas que se volvieron inolvidables desde el primer momento en que salieron en la película. Hace poco, Abracadabra 2 fue estrenada en Disney y esta vez fue dirigida por Anne Fletcher, en esta ocasión Winifred, Sarah y Mary están de regreso por venganza.

Esta película nos lleva junto a Max, Dani y Allison a explorar una casa completamente abandonada, por accidente el joven Max libera a 3 brujas que vivían en esa casa; las hermanas sanderson luego de despertar deciden buscar la manera de mantenerse para siempre en Salem, pero no cuentan con que Max y estas chicas junto a un gato negro buscaran la forma de impedir que Winifred, Sarah y Mary se vuelvan inmortales.

Esta es una de las películas que nunca puede faltar en un maratón de Halloween, siempre tiene que estar entre presente en el top. Es una película divertida y que tiene una tensión agradable, con una historia muy buena y con unos personajes maravillosos que te transmiten cada uno de los sentimientos que demuestran en la peli. La trama es fuerte, que no tiene bajones, tiene un suspenso suave, pero que no molesta; a pesar de que las brujas son las malas del cuento, terminaras amándolas y créeme que serán tus personajes favoritos de la película. Debido a que ahora se estrenó la segunda parte, mi hermano y yo la incluiremos en nuestro maratón; es muy buena y el ver de vuelta a las Sanderson te da mucha nostalgia, pero, sin embargo, no logra superar a la primera película. Mi Puntuación para Abracadabra es dé.
This is one of the movies that can never miss in a Halloween marathon, it always has to be in the top. It is a fun movie that has a nice tension, with a very good story and with wonderful characters that transmit you each of the feelings they show in the movie. The plot is strong, it doesn't have downs, it has a soft suspense, but it doesn't bother; even though the witches are the bad guys of the story, you will end up loving them and believe me they will be your favorite characters of the movie. Since the sequel is out now, my brother and I will be including it in our marathon; it's very good and seeing the Sandersons back gives you a lot of nostalgia, but, nevertheless, it fails to top the first film. My Score for Hocus Pocus is given.

Nosotros solemos verlas por orden cronológico para asi llevar la secuencia de la historia, tengo entendido que este orden es igual al orden de estreno por lo que para comenzar a verla es con Resident Evil, Luego sigue Resident Evil 2: Apocalipsis, Resident Evil 3: Extinción, Resident Evil 4: Ultratumba, Resident Evil: Venganza y por último Resident Evil: Capítulo final.
We usually watch them in chronological order to follow the sequence of the story, I understand that this order is equal to the order of release so to start watching it is with Resident Evil, then Resident Evil 2: Apocalypse, Resident Evil 3: Extinction, Resident Evil 4: Ultratumba, Resident Evil: Revenge and finally Resident Evil: Final Chapter.
La trama de las 6 películas tiene en común a los zombis, en cada una de ella te van mostrando una pizca de lo que es en realidad Umbrella y el cómo Alice intenta detener lo que ellos hacen, Resident Evil son películas que tienen mucha tensión, y un toque de terror; los zombis para mi son los mejores que he visto en la historia del cine y los personajes son maravillosos, Sinceramente son mis películas favoritas y nunca me cansaría de verlas. Mi Puntuación para estas increíbles películas es dé.
The plot of the 6 movies have zombies in common, in each one of them they show you a little bit of what Umbrella really is and how Alice tries to stop what they do, Resident Evil are movies that have a lot of tension, and a touch of terror; the zombies for me are the best I've seen in the history of cinema and the characters are wonderful, they are honestly my favorite movies and I would never get tired of watching them. My Score for these amazing movies is give.
Y por último, pero no menos importante, tenemos a American Horror Story. Es una serie que cuenta actualmente con 10 temporadas y una que se va a estrenar próximamente, AHS se estrenó por primera vez en el año 2011 y es una serie de terror, está dirigida y producida por Ryan Murphy y Brad Falchuk. Esta serie es una de las mejores en cuanto a su reparto, entre sus temporadas tiene presente a Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Jessica Lange, Emma Roberts, Taissa Farmiga, Lily Rabe, Cody Fern, Finn Wittrock, Kathy Bates y Lady Gaga. Realmente son muchos los buenos actores y actrices que participan en esta increíble serie.
And last but not least, we have American Horror Story. It is a series that currently has 10 seasons and one that will premiere soon, AHS premiered for the first time in 2011 and is a horror series, it is directed and produced by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. This series is one of the best in terms of its cast, among its seasons has present Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Jessica Lange, Emma Roberts, Taissa Farmiga, Lily Rabe, Cody Fern, Finn Wittrock, Kathy Bates and Lady Gaga. There are really a lot of good actors and actresses involved in this amazing series.
No solemos ver todas las temporadas, solamente escogemos una y la vemos al finalizar el maratón. En esta ocasión veremos la temporada 3, Coven es una de mis temporadas favoritas y nos cuenta la historia de un aquelarre que luego de 300 años sigue vigente con la tutela de Fiona, la bruja suprema, entrenara a las jóvenes brujas para protegerse cuando lo necesiten. Me encanta esta temporada y en general American Horror Story es una serie digna para un maratón de Halloween. Mi Puntuación final para esta serie maravillosa es dé.
We don't usually watch all the seasons, we only choose one and watch it at the end of the marathon. This time we will see season 3, Coven is one of my favorite seasons and tells the story of a coven that after 300 years is still in force with the tutelage of Fiona, the supreme witch, she will train the young witches to protect themselves when they need it. I love this season and overall American Horror Story is a worthy series for a Halloween marathon. My Final Score for this wonderful series is give.
Bueno hermosa comunidad de Movies & TV Shows, esta serian mis recomendaciones para un Maratón de Halloween, mi hermano y yo no solemos verlas todas, solo incluimos 1 o 2 de las que incluí acá. Well beautiful community of Movies & TV Shows, this would be my recommendations for a Halloween Marathon, my brother and I don't usually watch them all, we only include 1 or 2 of the ones I included here. I know my post is a bit long, but believe me it's worth it and if you made it this far I just want to thank you for your support and I hope you like some of the movies I put here and include in your marathon some season of AHS.
