Company-a software developer from Sydney's Full Profile intends to offer the technology of distributed registry to grain producers to ensure timely payment for the supply.

In 2008, after grain production in Australia ceased to be regulated by the state, farmers are at increased risk payment — to get paid for delivered grain after the goods de jure, will replace the owner.

During harvest (in Australia this December and April), the Full Profile will launch a trial version of the software, designed specifically for grain producers. The blockchain will record detailed information for each transaction in the supply chain; this information (and information on other similar transactions) will be available, both for the seller and the buyer. They will be able not only to track the shipment in real time, but to get a better idea of fair prices. According to co-founder of the firm of Emma Watson, "it will increase transparency.

Other companies, such as British Provenance, they also use the blockchain to track the origin of food. And a start FarmShare (USA) created their own cryptocurrency for a small wholesale trade in products of local farms.
