#Monomad Challenge - Empty streets

Good evening, #Monomad friends

Here is my entry for the #monomad contest by Hive account@brumest and Hive account@monochromes.

In the middle of a week of heavy rain, the days all seem the same... Fortunately, I can take comfort in the fact that I was not directly affected by Storm Kristin.

Yesterday, I had a get-together with friends. It was a long-awaited reunion. We had been planning it for several months, when finally it seemed that the stars aligned to make it possible.

A day that would have been the same as the previous one and today ended up being filled with light, joy, sharing, and lots of friendship.

Sometimes happiness is not visible to everyone, but we feel it inside. Yesterday was one of those rare winter days.
