More critters and their handlers out at the WAP (January 2008).

Now, it's January 2008 and we're off for yet another visit to the WAP (San Diego Wild Animal Park)! First, we see a couple cute birds holding a couple other cute birds. :-)

And now it's time for the Shamu Show at Sea World! Looks like he's having fun to me. Either that, or he's a good actor. :-)

Inside the shark tunnel at Sea World in December, 2007. A big Plexiglas tunnel that you can walk through while sharks swim all around you! Pretty cool.

Can't recall if this is a Megalodon jaw, or just one from some other huge shark. Certainly big enough to eat most people in one bite, though!

The usual flock of flamingos that you see at zoos and animal parks like this. I wonder if it's the same flock with a contract to fly around to all of them? :-)

Next, the ray-petting pool at Sea World in December 2007. These guys are very friendly and tame - and smooth and soft! :-)

More fun at Sea World's dolphin petting pool in December 2007. Dolphins kept squealing "Set us FREEEEEEEEE! Set us FREEEEEEEE!" But nobody seemed to understand them, except me. :-(

Now, it's December 2007 and it's time for a visit to Sea World! First stop, the dolphin petting pool, where selected kids (mostly) get to pet selected dolphins. :-)
