I was in Kathmandu in November-December 2014 😀

I talked to locals, they said the reason #1 was corruption in the government. #2 reason was banned social media. That's why people had unity during the protest - this wasn't about ideologies but about the government of thieves. Now everyone has their own view on what to do next (since people belong to different ideologies) but... hopefully, they'll find the way out. I feel many people understand that stability is the only way. The chaos during the protest taught an important lesson - it's very easy to lose everything and turn the country into ashes.
