I've been a windows user since I bought my first pc, and alternatively played with Linux distros for quite a bit, maybe 3 months, 6 months, 1 year. I was afraid to change my life because of some software that is not compatible with linux, like some messengers I use or something like that.

First obstacle I found on Linux: Video Editor

Damn if it's been hard to find something stable.
I always appreciated OpenShot, but it unexpectly crashes on my machine, so I will wait for updates for using it.
My solution? Kdenlive.

Wait, you never liked Kde

Yeah, I never liked Kde, it was too uhm... different from what I always wanted from a visual when using it. Always liked gnom-ish stuff. Hell I'm on Cinnamon now and I don't really get the difference with Mate, I'm never good at spotting all the differences.
but Kdenlive appears to be the most closest thing I can use that reminds me of the infamous Sony product.

Second problem: programs on the bar takes too much space

So, I was like, what the heck, I used to love XP with his style and long name that tells me what was it, but since I'm now used to big icons that takes less space and just reminds me with the icon what I have open, I searched for alternative stuff.
Luckily in the applets online someone made what I needed. Window List with App Grouping
did a good job, but then I was like, hey, long windows names, go away! so I found out I had to disable the original applet for showing programs on the bar.

Third problem: That menu is too friggin small!

That's right, I could barely See the difference between the programs docked in that bar and the applications, so I had to pick a nice theme. Found out that the Windows 10 theme was dark enouugh and made the bar height enough to actually notice the difference between the 2. I know guys, don't look at me like that please

You formatted Windows to install a Linux Distro, and then you install a Windows 10( which you won't ever even install it not even if they paid you to do it) theme? Then my friend, you are an asshole!

Don't get me wrong! I just wanted a black bar with height enough to see the difference, nothing more, I didn't changed the icons to make them look like Windows or even the buttons of the windows! But I will probably change now the basic look of the icons, I don't kindly like them, I like customizations so, I will fix that very soon!

Question from the crowd: Will you get back doing Youtube videos now that you got officially got partnership with it even if you barely have 700 subs?

When the new microphone will arrive I will make some videos, don't worry.
What I'm hoping for is I will be able to do it in my native language, and for the international videos, maybe I will just create another channel in my main one.
I know, I wanted to pick english as my most used language but I couldn't decide it, sorry guys.

What do you want to do now, as first Linux video?

A tutorial for using Kdenlive, yeah that should work.
Then a timelapse in blender of something.
I will find and organize everything I promise it, I just need random ideas to put on work.
I wanna be the very best, but first I wanna do it for my own country, is it a bad Idea?
