One of the main foundations that I sought to compose for this series of photographs that mainly targets nature and its different species, is to try to counteract texture and contrast in the images, to visualize that duality between the darker tones and lighter tones, as well as the dew of the shadows between the photographed motifs.
These photographs are part of a tour that I made through a natural park that is in the city where I live, and I chose among many photographs that I could capture, these images especially because they meet the objectives I wanted for this photographic work, where naturally you can see a lot of texture in nature, obviously by the natural condition of these species in question, they make those fundamentals mentioned above stand out more.
As an example, with the first cover photograph, where you can see some leaves of a plant, you can appreciate the texture of those leaves perfectly, but something that I loved was the partially black background, so that the leaves stand out better in the foreground.
All the photographs are my own and were taken with a Canon T3i camera.
