They do look like dainty, little dancers, don't they? You are so right about these Cabbage butterflies that hardly ever stay still or open their wings long enough. I have only been able to capture them

The praying mantis is big and its head amazes me too. I love the photo with it looking at you from inside the jar, and that is a pretty moth. All insects welcome at @sarimanok's home! Love that. : )
