what makes the "value" of bitcoin ? if you want to buy lets say a house with bitcoins then the value is in Dollar or Euro etc and you pay as many BTC until the amount in Dollar or Euro is reached .. today .. tomorrow it might be tha half or double or or or .. depends on how "Traders" buy and sell bitcoins for fiat .. so BTC depends on fiat .. the BTC value depends on fiat and those who have enough fiat money .. thats not an instrument to replace fiat ! and no way to pay with it either .. just a good asset for speculation .. like shares ! playground for the fiat-rich once more ..
