Yesterday, I showed my boyfriend a video of 'Dalgona coffee' and basically how to make it which is dang easy, a 5 years old boy could also make it so... He couldn't help making it just on that same day and no, he's a bit older than 5 years old :)
Dalgona coffee is a beverage made by whipping equal proportions of instant coffee powder, sugar, and hot water until it becomes creamy and then adding it to cold or hot milk.
Why has Dalgona Coffee become so popular?
I believe it's started in South Korea and became so popular because how easy it is to make in no time, how pretty it looks and indeed, how delicious and creamy it is... Also, the fact that it's now all over the places like, YouTube, TikTok, IG, it's just hard to ignore :)
Stupidly asking, Do you actually need a whisk to make Dalgona Coffee?
My first time seeing someone make Dalgona Coffee in person. Funny enough, we couldn't find a whisk but big salud to the bf, he wanted it bad so he tried using a fork instead #lol and hey, it works!!!! Even though it's not as fluffy as it's supposed to be, it works still. Also, I'm sure if he had more patience and whisk it a bit longer, it would have been as beautiful as the ones made with a whisk.
That's me after one edible CBD infused gummy #LOL
Have you ever tried Dalgona coffee? So smooth, so yum!
