Hello everybody! My name is Josh and I am complicated, to say the least. At best, I am capable and intelligent; at worst, I can be way to selfish. Let's be honest, we are all a little selfish. And speaking of the complications of selfishness, I am a recovering transsexual. That is to say that, while I admit that clearly, I have gender dysphoria and am totally trans, I have yet to transition and am pretty much stewing in my own gender confusion on a daily basis. To add insult to injury, I am a slave. I owe a grip of money to some x-wives and the many, many children that we have all have had together, and so I am a workaholic; against my will and not enjoying the situation in the least bit, aka slave. How do I deal with all of this you might be asking? Well, I am a trans-humanist and a quasi-philosophical Luciferian. How is this helping the situation?
The first thing that I would have to say is that my philosophical beliefs have guided me towards a path of personal evolution. An interesting thing to note is the differences between Satanism and Luciferianism and while I claim the latter. A stereotypical Satanist might view the world as just being carnal and godless, and while on some level I can agree with that viewpoint, a Luciferian would take a more balanced approach and be more willing to at-least be open to the possibilities of allowing added spiritual dimensions have an influence over their personal evolution, as opposed to the Satanist whom might not have room for such things. As it has been said, being a "theistic Satanist" is a bit of an oxymoron. It's kind of like totally not getting the whole Satanic philosophy. In my opinion, the Luciferian concept as seeing yourself as the only God, really opens up some possibilities and gives a lot of room for development and personal evolution, which is what both Satanic and Luciferian philosophises have in common. I resonate with the "Traditional Witchcraft" side of Luciferianism believing in a nature based and balanced approach to magick, life, and all things.
All that being said, I am a trans-humanist as well as a transsexual. If given enough resources, I would strive for absolute immortality. I believe that we as a species are at the threshold of having the capability of becoming immortal gods, if we so choose. And that is my point, how many of us would want to become gods? Are we so conditioned by others who would profit from our enslavement to this grand scheme we call society, that we will allow our selves to just roll over and die without even trying to evolve beyond our current limitations?
It blows my mind how we can develop The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN, the most complicated and expensive piece of equipment in all of human history, at yet we refuse to seriously develop life extension research technology. Don't get me wrong, "they" are seriously developing life extension technology, for "themselves".
We get the consequences of a burned out, left over, post modern dystopia that is "life in the so called space age." Which bring this all back to developing one's own "personal philosophy". This is the first step in developing life extension. It's about the choices that you make on a minute to minute basis in life that have a rippling effect on your future life, mind, body, and soul, (if you believe in that sort of thing). But first you have to want it, and ironically the survival instinct has become the primary target of the post modern system where "they" will lead "us" right over the cliff. At this rate we will need life extension just to live a normal life expectancy.
