Hello Alive Tribe! It's a wet, chilly Sunday evening in Northwestern, Pennsylvania. We just finished streaming evening church services. The text of tonight's message was a portion of Psalms 119:33-40 written by King David. David prays to God asking Him to teach him His commandments and help him to understand His will.
Jeff and I prepared a beef roast with the fixings before the service and cooked it in the Instapot during church. The Instapot is a wonderful modern cooking convenience. The price of these pots has dropped since they were first introduced to the market. Initially, a large Instapot could be purchased for $99.00. Since then, there have been many variations of the Instapot available, and they all work in the same manner.
The Instapot is essentially a pressure cooker. It is a versatile cooking tool because it can also cool like your traditional slow cooker. It's convenient to have a fully prepared, savory roast beef meal within forty minutes. The meal was delicious and made up, somewhat, for the cool, rainy Spring weather. We even experienced some rain mixed with snow on the drive home from morning church.
