Wie schnell werden die Chaos-Legion-Booster-Packs ausverkauft sein? Meine Schätzung.
General Sale Launch
Heute Abend (17:00 UTC) startet der lang erwartete General-Sale der neuen Chaos Legion Booster Packs auf Splinterlands.
Bisher brauchte man, um Packs kaufen zu können, immer einen VOUCHER-Token. 3 Millionen wurden, wenn ich das richtig verstanden habe, in den letzten zwei Monaten an SPS-Staker ausgeschüttet.
Ab heute braucht man die VOUCHER nur noch dafür, um Bonus-Packs zu bekommen, wenn man eine bestimmte Menge an Packs kauft. Mengenrabatt.
In der Pre-Sale-Phase wurden knapp 2 Millionen der 15 Millionen Packs verkauft.
Wie schnell, denkt ihr, werden die Packs ausverkauft sein?
Mein Gefühl ist, dass die Packs eher nicht sofort ausverkauft sein werden, sondern dass es eher einige Wochen dauern wird. Ich kann natürlich völlig falsch liegen, denke aber, dass es doch mindestens einige Tage bis Wochen dauern wird.
Jeder, der Packs unbedingt kaufen wollte, konnte das in der Pre-Sale-Phase bereits tun. Es wurden aber weit weniger VOUCHER eingesetzt als verfügbar gewesen wären.
Auswirkung auf die Karten-Preise
Eine weitere Konsequenz des General Sales wird sein, dass ohne VOUCHER nicht nur die Packs billiger werden, sondern in Folge auch die Karten. Zumindest sollte das temporär so sein, solange die Packs nicht ausverkauft sein werden.
Man muss nämlich bedenken, dass mit dem General Sale noch circa 10x mehr Chaos-Legion-Karten gemintet werden und es von Chaos Legion auch generell weitaus mehr Packs gibt als bei allen anderen Packs zuvor.
Allerdings ist auch die User-Basis in der Zwischenzeit gestiegen.
Window of Opportunity
Ich gehe davon aus, dass auch Chaos-Legion-Karten stark an Wert zulegen werden, sobald diese ausverkauft sein werden. Window of Opportunity, um in Splinterlands einzusteigen. Keine Anlageberatung ;)
Was denkt ihr? Wie schnell werden die Packs ausverkauft sein? Kauft ihr heute welche? Möchte mir heute 100 Packs zulegen, kann es kaum erwarten. Habe auf dieses Event eine gefühlte Ewigkeit gewartet.

How quickly will the Chaos Legion booster packs sell out? My guess.

Tonight (17:00 UTC) the long awaited General Sale of the new Chaos Legion Booster Packs will start on Splinterlands.
Until now, in order to buy packs, you needed a VOUCHER token. One per pack. 3 million were distributed to SPS stakeholders in the last two months, if I understood correctly.
As of today, you only need VOUCHER to get bonus packs when you buy a certain amount of packs. Quantity discount.
In the pre-sale phase, just under 2 million of the 15 million packs were sold.
How quickly do you think the packs will sell out?
My feeling is that the packs won't sell out right away, but rather that it will take a few weeks. I could be completely wrong, but I think it will take at least a few days to a few weeks.
Everyone who wanted to buy packs could already do so during the pre-sale phase. However, far fewer VOUCHERS were used than would have been available.
Impact on card prices
Another consequence of the General Sale will be that without VOUCHER not only the packs will become cheaper, but as a consequence also the cards. At least this should be the case temporarily, as long as the packs will not be sold out.
You have to keep in mind that with the General Sale about 10x more Chaos Legion cards will be minted and there are generally more packs of Chaos Legion than with all other packs before.
However, the user base has also increased in the meantime.
Window of Opportunity
I expect that Chaos Legion cards will also greatly increase in value once they sell out. Window of Opportunity to get into Splinterlands. No financial advice ;)
