Yesterday was fantastic! It started a bit rough since there’s construction going on outside of our window. It’s terrifying to have the entire house shake when you’re dead asleep. Our entire family grabbed our personal bags and made an effort to leave the house but it was brief. The humidity hitting the city is no joke. I can literally feel my face melt!
I noticed that the garden could use a drink and upon closer inspection I discovered three large cucumbers! I freaked out! The boys were also excited and we couldn’t wait to taste it. There was a little treasure hunt that went on and here are a few other fruits/vegetables that I found.
I think this is a pepper? I planted tomatoes right next to it so I’m not sure.
The lettuce is blowing up along with the weeds that I need to clear out.
The carrots are out of control! I can’t wait to harvest them in the fall! I’m also thinking about planting garlic because I heard it’s fairly low maintenance.
The biggest surprise is this little itty bitty watermelon! Isn’t is adorable!?
