Well, that makes more sense than captives somehow breaking free of their captors often enough to repeatedly signal for help. I see why you prefaced this information by discussion of psychopathy. At least this clarifies what was going on. I certainly suspect the LAPD is corrupt, and potentially trafficking vulnerable people. My experience with corrupt cops leaves no expectation of limits to their criminal ventures.
Sadly, police resources, when availed to corrupt LEA's, are not used to investigate their own corruption.
Regarding Deepseek, OpenAI seems to be a very sketchy enterprise, and Sam Altman entirely scurrilous. The death of Suchir Balaji raises extremely serious questions about that company, and it's acquisition of 'training data', not to mention the means by which Elon Musk was ejected from the company and it's re-constitution as a for profit enterprise after being created as an non-profit. Frankly, this shot across OpenAI's bow couldn't have happened to a better company, at a more appropriate time.
I hope Trump scuttles the entire Stargate project as rife with losers, and having already tarnished his brand and certain to do worse and more of that. Larry Ellison is verminous. Absolutely intolerable in human company. Nothing he's involved in should exist, TBH. I sincerely hope President Trump ascertains the nature of the scam artists he has fallen into company with and extracts his brand, the country, and the American people from everything involving Ellison and Altman in any way.
Frankly, I am astounded that Trump did not realize Ellison is a bastion of that very IC ilk that sought to take him out in all the various ways he has been opposed in his political career in the last several years. Oracle is a CIA front, and Ellison is it's face. Upon reflection, I don't believe Trump isn't aware of what Oracle is and who Ellison is, and probably was sucked into making up and buddying up to that utterly untrustworthy industry. More, not less, than before I am sure President Trump needs to immediately end Stargate, abandon Ellison, Altman, and OpenAI to their resources and own scams, and extricate his brand from the peril it is in.
The release of JanusPro7B reveals what OpenAI was supposed to be, and making it free is a brilliant move by China, as well as perfectly timed.
If OpenAI isn't done for this is a damn good time to throw down for a couple shares of NVidia. Of course GPUs are also necessary for Deepseek and JanusPro7B, so Nvidia is likely to rebound quickly and significantly, because NVidia is not OpenAI, and it's GPUs are still going to be in demand, perhaps even moreso since the free to use model of Deepseek and JanusPro7B is going to enable more people to adopt them for their personal use, and likely to invest in GPUs for that purpose.
Just a word to the wise.
If any of the allegations against Gaiman are true, his posture as an ultrafeminist is even more despicable. It's weird how after years of alleged abuses, suddenly several accusations can arise all at once. It is this phenomenon that most causes suspicion that the accusations are baseless, and simply attempts to strike it rich, to feast on a behemoth helpless of a sudden. Other than bare allegations I am unaware of any evidence of any criminal acts by Gaiman, yet his career is over, his reputation is destroyed, and he'll be lucky to stay out of prison. You'd think some actual evidence would be required for that.
Thanks!
