Fire up the lawyers! Chitin secreted in publicly sold food is biological warfare against people with shellfish allergies. Folks with allergies that don't oppose this assault might as well just dig a grave and lay down in it. It's genocide, and every pizza is a bullet with their name on it.

It is clear that the megacorporation that controls ~90% of publicly owned corporations and all institutions susceptible to financial corruption, such as churches, governments, and all of the others, has embarked on political initiatives that it will achieve at any cost to civilian populations. While the decentralization of the means of production are ongoing, and every day more empower people to extricate themselves from centralized industry that supports the megacorporation, their indoctrinations and feeble ability to grasp reason and empirical evidence prevents many of them from acting to not only develop their personal wealth by eliminating parasitic losses of their productivity, but even to defend their lives from existential threats, like war, genetic alteration, and poisoning with toxic additives to their food and drink.

The least competent to secure their lives, fortunes, and honor will perish first, and successive genocide will continue to eradicate the increasingly competent as those that well secure themselves observe. Will the process continue until all that are left are forcibly defeated by force of arms wielded by surviving soldiers loyal to the megacorporation?

I do not think it will. I think at some point the competent and rational people will note their vulnerability as individuals facing the global technocracy and will begin to coordinate security policies on the ground, while gutted military forces will betray their nominal hierarchies when their losses cannot be ignored. One thing soldiers understand is exigency, and while general officers are politicians, line officers aren't. Sooner or later the megacorporation will no longer have military forces to command, and that is the day DUMBs are for.

Perhaps then the real plague will be unleashed. We will be fortunate that CRISPR and it's improved replacements are kitchen table tech when that happens. I find it difficult to grasp a reasonable basis for these developments. I think Fink and his minions aren't essentially reasonable, but rather acquisitive, and that, as has been said, the love of money is the root of all evil.

They can't prevail, and justice will eventually be meted out, but they can't help themselves by giving up their wealth and power to prevent it. They are truly psychopaths, broken, and incapable of reason.

Once they have been disposed of, the sky's the limit.

Oh, wait... It's actually not. There literally is no limit to the prosperity and felicity our posterity will create, once the parasites are removed. In truth, the sky is just the beginning.
