I did not know that Russia would accept US dollars for it's oil. My understanding was that China had arranged for trade in oil to be settled in Yuan. Are you sure the trade was settled in dollars?

Anyway, you are quite right that overlords in Asia and all the world do want to trade with the USA, and the US President is traveling to China to meet with Xi Jinping, which I hope goes well. I sometimes expect bad things to happen, but I never want bad things to happen, and when I expect them to happen I always hope that I am wrong about it, as I do now.

They have little choice, as oil from the ME is almost completely cut off.

This picture is of part of the fleet of vehicles transporting oil from Iran into Pakistan, and there is an equally impressive fleet of motorcycles transporting Iranian crude oil to Pakistan as well. Because the Strait of Hormuz is being blockaded by the USA, oil transported by ships from the ME is very scarce, and the various products that are produced from petroleum, like helium, sulphur, and fertilizer, are in even greater scarcity, so for polities that have a continuing need for oil, turning to Russia is one of the few options they have available, as Pakistan seems to have the motorcycle and pickup truck trade locked up.
