I have never borrowed from a bank. My mortgages were hard (private) money, except for Citi once purchasing my lender and then defrauding me out of the property. There are private parties that are willing to lend for real property purchases.

As you may have observed, the internet will cease to exist shortly. KYC requirements to fire up an OS are being imposed (because KYC to use online platforms is too limited, as is KYC to access the internet) on the OS and app providers. Hive will not be able to avoid succumbing to this, nor will any platform. Because all cryptocurrencies are designed to operate on the internet, they will become unusable - unless they can operate via communications infrastructure besides the internet, such as via mesh packet radio networks (which can - and will - also be attacked). To enable cryptocurrencies (and censorship proof communications) network infrastructure owned by users and able to be secure from interference by enemies will have to be built and adopted. I am unaware of anything better than Meshcore presently, and the advantage of using LoRa spectrum that is used by IoT devices to report surveillance data to our overlords is temporary, and will be surmounted. Further this is a low-bandwidth medium, and will not replace the internet in terms of information density, only being able to provide voice and text. Better media are possible, but I am unaware of any in development at this time. I am not aware of any infrastructure mechanism that is immune to interference or destruction by hostile forces. Without comms, crypto is without value. Local interpersonal exchanges will be far less fragile via PMs or barter.

Unless such communities prepare to secure their clay as well as Iran has, and whomever is attacking them is as misconfigured for the assault and conquest and as unprepared as Usrael has been to conquer Iran, the news of such conquests will be censored with facility. Survivors are necessary to inform others of such conquests, and because of that I doubt any will be able to inform anyone of what happened, unless the community successfully defends itself and has means of communicating that cannot be blocked or censored.

I recommend reconsidering your theses based on current developments.
