My name is Valentina and I’m new here.
I read the posts on this website with such great interest but I’ve hesitated to write something, mostly because I am a perfectionist and I am critical of my writing. But to hell with self-doubt!
I decided to join Steemit not for the rewards, but for the like-minded people in this community. In a world so full of hatred, it’s a breath of fresh air to see people encouraging one another, having a healthy conversation on global issues without resorting to insults or pinpointing our differences.
I have many interests and my posts might be scattered in different areas, but I love having the freedom of not being tagged as “Valentina who does this…or that”. People are not unilateral and even the most dedicated professionals in one subject have interests outside his/her area of interest.
I am an entrepreneur, a new mother, a wife in a happy and healthy relationship, I am multilingual, and since recently I am a miner and a trader. It’s an interesting story how I got into mining. Exactly one year ago I had no idea such technology existed and I discovered mining in the roughest financial time. I will dedicate a separate post just for this.
My dream is to be financially independent. My current business is a school of foreign languages. In college I studied finance and business, but the lessons I learned from real life greatly surpass the theory I studied. I’d love to share my experiences with you. I wouldn’t say that I have the financial freedom I so badly want, but I like being my own boss, albeit it’s not always easy. In my free time, I enjoy reading books and/or watch instructional videos about cryptocurrency, marketing, management, leadership, philosophy, and healthy lifestyle.
