Well it was a very enjoyable and rewarding day as we helped 3 special needs puppies on their way to a new home in Idaho.
At least I was able to walk later in the day after our trip and it was a nice day weather-wise for a change.
The puppies were just 8 weeks old and were hearing and visually impaired (probably genetic as they appear to be albino) but super sweet. We both wanted to take them home with us for the night but they have a looooong trip ahead this weekend.
I took Lulu out for a couple of miles walking when we got home ad we both ate some junky food today and needed to burn off those crappy calories (she frolicked around a bit in Flagstaff when we went for a half mile or so walk while we waited.
As soon as we finished the 2 miles I went out for a more "serious" activity but I wasn't motivated for s long walk and my pace wasn't too great. I lagged on the trail around the gravel pit and just didn't feel up to a lot of miles so I cut things a couple of miles short.
Tomorrow it's off to pan for gold and some backcountry hiking with Lulu. Sweet dreams to my little puppy friends 💞💞💞💞
