Two bloggers. Two thumbs. Honest recommendations. We write video game reviews and maintain Steam Curator pages recommending interesting and unique indies! We love all things video game related though, so don't be surprised if you see a smattering of retro, triple A, and other gaming adjacent shenanigans!!

RE: Feeling Nostalgic Playing Heroes of Might and Magic II: The Price of Loyalty

Wow, talk about nostalgia! Heroes of Might and Magic and Warcraft were probably the first two games I played on a PC when I was younger and I still look back on them fondly. Now I need to see if I can

RE: My most anticipated Indie Game of this year - Hades 2 is going to be a BLAST

Hades 2 truly does look fantastic and I love that the devs are focusing on a new set of characters! Very much looking forward for this one!

RE: FAITH: The Unholy Trinity

It, and horror games in general, are definitely not for everyone, but it's great when you find one that stands out like FAITH! What's most impressive is how much the developer got out of so little. Especially

That's good to know! I'm going to re-download it and give it another shot!!

RE: ☀CELESTE☀ A review of an Indie worthy to be at the top!││☀CELESTE☀ Una reseña de un juego Digno de estar en la cima! [EN-ESP]

One of my favorites! Celeste certainly isn't the easiest game, but everything from the level design, to the evolution of the gameplay mechanics, to the story and soundtrack, are all exquisitely designed.

RE: Despot's Game, and comedy through puny humans [Eng | Spa]

I've been curious about this game, especially after playing Despotism 3K. Love their style and their humor, and this game looks no different. I tested it out myself around its release, and wasn't quite

RE: The Fishing Hamlet Village - Bloodborne

What a great DLC! It's funny because we stumbled into it early not knowing it was even DLC and were perplexed with how difficult the enemies became haha That said, probably some of the most satisfying

RE: [Straw Plays] Hello Neighbor 2 - Not as fun as I expected

It's funny because my son LOVED the first game, but when I tried to play the sequel with him, he just wasn't into it. From what I could tell it wasn't too bad, but it did carry forward a lot of the awkwardness

RE: Limbo - A very dark and scary work of art - EN/ES

Such a haunting game! I loved the art style and how the developers used the foreground and the background to add even more atmosphere to the already creepy aesthetics. The puzzles were super satisfying

RE: Wavetale - A new Indie adventure [EN-ES]

I love how colorful this game is! Plus the movement seems super satisfying. I recently watched a trailer for this as well and it's definitely going on my wishlist!

RE: Sonic Spinball (Sega Genesis, 1993)

In my mind, truly an under appreciated gem! For a long time I put off playing it, but after revisiting it recently I found myself getting hooked. Sure the controls are a little wonky and the hit detection

RE: My top NEW videogames to be released in 2023, happy holidays to all!!

Very much looking forward to Resident Evil 4 myself. I'm a big fan of the series in general and Capcom has been doing a fantastic job of each of the remakes they've released so far, so I'm sure RE4 will

RE: About incublus.hivegc(Tipping in Hive Gaming Community)

Very cool, and a great idea. There's so much content on here that it's difficult to find everything, and for everyone to get the recognition their work deserves, but the Hive GC has been doing a fantastic

RE: MTG: Arena - Road to ranking up to eventually play tournaments - Part #2

Love playing white! One of my favorite decks that I've build was based around Wingmantle Chaplain. Super fun to replicate it with something like Vesuvan Duplimancy and spawn a ton of 1/1 birds haha

RE: My Played Video Games Review: Super Double Dragon for the Super Nintendo

Such a classic! I don't play beat 'em ups quite as much as I did when I was younger, but Super Double Dragon has always been one of my favorites.

Jotun has been on our list for a while now! The game looks super fun and we'll definitely have to set aside some time to give it a good crack.

Potionomics was such a charming game and if you like management sims, we'd highly recommend you check it out! Probably some of the prettiest graphics we've seen in a while as well.

RE: Potionomics

It was really well done in all aspects and I definitely enjoyed my time with it. I'll be back for a second round in the future for sure, especially if it gets dlc or updates!
