There is a big park a little bit away from my house! It's quite big, with an astroturf field, places for organizations, a pool and a green area. Despite such a big area, animals are not very welcome here. People walking by say they are afraid of the dogs and complain to the municipality about the animals. So where are these animals going to live? This is a big city and almost all the green areas have been used for residences and shopping centers. There is no space left for animals! The shelters are very poorly maintained and inadequate, animals are badly treated there. Shelters are not safe for animals! We have left no space for animals to live in this big world. I am ashamed of this situation for myself! When I see hungry, thirsty animals on the street, I feel inadequate and irresponsible.
I try to do something for them as much as I can. There are 3 dogs accepted by the park. I threatened the park management to accept them! If you kick them out of here, you will suffer the consequences! I said. There are three stray dogs in the park now. I take food to them regularly, but now winter is approaching and there is no closed area in the park to protect them from the cold. I want to buy ready-made kennels for them and bring them here, but the park management does not allow it. Now I'm thinking of applying to the municipality for this. They can't stay wet under the snow all winter, they will get sick and there is no one to take care of them!
I constantly come across animals that need help and in some cases I am helpless because unfortunately not everyone loves animals! Especially in the apartment building where I live, there are people who don't like animals and I am constantly struggling with them. You may not like animals but you have no right to harm them! They have the right to life and we as humans should respect their rights and give them space to live!
