I came across this really cool page for viewing the user rankings on Steemit.
It let's you see who the top whales are and you can even do a search for yourself.

Looks like it's pretty much real time.
I haven't figured out what the first column is yet (probably some kind of internal ranking)
But the second column ranks STEEM and the third column shows STEEM DOLLARS.
