A coin either has to have real utility value or perceived value to hold its price. If it has neither it will drop in price until either real utility or perception changes.

Let the market set the price, trying to manipulate markets is one of the quickest ways to lose market participants. Usually, before I consider investing in a token I want to see how widely it is distributed.

Since I did not participate in #oldsteem and I can't speak to the differences with #newsteem. However, I like the 50/50 split and think it is necessary in order to have an engaged community.

I can't imagine that I would burn Steem but I certainly Power Up. It's just makes good business sense to Power Up instead of burning.
