Wowza, my Snoop Dog came that close to grabbing the win... She lookied, but didn't quite come.

I don't think it is necessary at all to know the history of the artist or understand the language to enjoy a song. I enjoy a variety of Japanese artists and know the language only the barest fraction more than the nothing I know of the artists themselves.
