Looks like what we call Japanese beetle which wrecks havok on plants. Neem oil or dr bronners citrus soap mixed with water will keep em off your plants.

We get a lot of fresh fish here. I like to make fish tacos out of it. Slice it in strips, rub a bit of taco seasoning on it and throw it on the grill.
