If you wonder how I obtained the splashing effect around the wave I'll tell you: You only need to cut a paintbrush's hair in half with a scissor (you can also use a toothbrush but the paintbrush is more accurate) then tip the shortened hair in the color of your choice (in this case, white) then aim and rapidly move a finger in the direction you want to spray. :)

And with the speed of soaring birds
They come launching at the earth.
