we are out and about at least five days a week.... and i have such a backlog of stuff to share. i think a lot of it is beautiful..... italy is beautiful and interesting.
this was taken on a nature trail just outside of ancona. i want to do a complete post on it sometime but just wanted to share this as it pertains to my fear of heights. we were walking along wondering where the path went and arrived at this point. beautiful .... but .....
that is the drop.... no fence, no warning... nothing... just crumbly soil and a bit of growth. the drop must be at least 75 degrees.... my brain reeled and i staggered back.

this town when we visited it was absolutely deserted.... temperature was in low single digits and raining. two africans (me and my gal) the only two people crazy enough to be outdoors.
