Have been trying out latest develop of hived. Memory usage fell from 22GB (19GB when loading snapshot) to 5.1GB (+1GB residual during replay). Everything fits within 12GB RAM even with comments rocksdb

Main focus on that page is the voting CSI score for now. Curation rewards and APR will probably be part of the comprehensive personal dashboard but that's low priority for me right now.

Indeed, much easier to query data beyond what standard APIs provide.

Formula does not look bounded by a min/max value. Yes, the score worsens the more concentrated the votes are. Some real examples: Using all voting power towards one account (-2.78) Using all voting power

Those silly things may end up to be valuable feedback to the devs 😀

maybe another platform will swoop in and grab them before Hive gets the chance It already happened, the biggest issue I have is they are largely VC funded without proper incentive structure to sustain

UX is still a major issue here along with negative perception of web3 outside of crypto generally. VSC may fix the first part, the latter would be very difficult however.

Foundry is still the top pool as listed in

Interesting. Will look into integrating this into Aioha.

How much additional RAM/VRAM will this require (especially on public nodes), and will all public API nodes be expected to run Hivesense at some point?

I'm likely the only one currently running in APAC publicly, it makes sense that latency is very noticeable.

There is an official SVG in the discord here, but that one is unusually large (647KB). Would be nice if this remake is much smaller that is more suitable for use in webpages where loading times are critical.

Yep the placement on PeakD doesn't sound like a good idea at all. At best it should belong in analytics page to not overload the main profile with unnecessary details.

That is a valid concern. As for censorship, I don't see that as a major issue until witnesses start to exclude certain transactions from their blocks deliberately.

Would this imply that the HiveFest ticket itself will not include breakfast, as I obviously do not need the hotel accommodation?

@tibfox does not have a . in the username

Was totally not expecting this without me reaching out to co-ordinate local matters (which I lack the capacity at this moment as I'm busy with other work).

Definitely attending, but have yet to think about anything with presentation.

Yes that was me in Split last year.

I'm absolutely stunned that this year's event will be held in my country! Looking forward to see all of you again this year!
