RE: First Month of Card Rental Income is In
I just rolled out a service for managing staked player accounts to Neal for live beta testing. I expect to have it available to everyone by the new season start. Not sure how the earnings will compare

RE: Ottermaker now takes all Splinterlands cards
I just fixed this. Sorry - Steem-Engine API sometimes doesn't find transactions lately.

RE: Ottermaker now takes all Splinterlands cards
There are people who do things that make a lot less sense than that. Having set the bot up to buy on the market, I'm seeing how many people are willing to dump their cards for considerably less than the

RE: Steemit, Inc. Financial Update
Good job on the cost-cutting. But how do you not mention at all the strange spike in ad revenue in June? That needs an explanation. January - May are basically exactly what ought to have been expected,

RE: I plan to stop voting.
Seems like two possibilities to me: They figured out that the window makes Steem harder for people to use without improving anything, but need to save face vs. just removing it Just more fiddling while

Beta packs are BETA, alpha packs are ALPHA.

Convergent linear will make that difficult. They're making self-voting only viable for whales.

And the Mushroom Seers, so it should be healthy going forward.

Got the Phantom Soldier, which helped out a lot. Over 200k DEC in the account now.

Couldn't it be argued that the previous reward scheme favored authors too greatly? If this were true then presumably Steem would be swarming with high-quality authors who were creating content that was

You can already do this without too much trouble as long as the number is more than 25%. If you removed mandatory curation from the blockchain side I could spin up the back end of user-selected curation

I didn't look away. I looked right here and saw you voting on your own comment.

It's nice out here. Not long after HF20 - largely but not entirely because of the last round of this discussion - I made the decision to power down 80% or so of my stake, and I don't regret it for an instant.

How does Traf and Blocktrades and Cervantes getting exactly what they want constitute compromise? From the simulations "convergent linear" isn't really any different from an exponential curve

RE: Now you can see the numbers.
Bribing people to vote has always been a terrible idea. It attracts the people whose only reason for voting is that they're being bribed, and those people are always going to be looking for opportunities

I'm going to answer this off the rails a little bit in hopes that someone sees it: we should refuse all hardforks until a rigorous process for evaluating hardforks is developed. It can start with HF20,

So as I understand it at a glance, as the SF niche owner you should be looking to recruit people with expertise and subject-based writing skill to participate in that niche, right? So tell me why I ought

I'm sorry, Crim, I appreciate your passion but a lot of this is just flat-out false. Especially the bit about how if the authors were just powering up they would be able to get a meaningful piece of the

Given your interest in heisty things, I'd recommend Ancillary Justice by Ann Leckie, All Systems Red by Martha Wells, and Three Parts Dead by Max Gladstone.
