Early morning on the rail trail
MY Toe is feling a bit better today, I probably should have taken it easy today, and not worry about gettign steps in, but I cna be stubborn at times, and decided to get some in, not my usual at least 10K and a lot slower than I normally do but I did get about 7K steps in walking back and forth in my sunroom this morning, by then my toe was lettign me know enough is enough and I called it quits there
Good Morning and have a good day, today I will share a few more shots from a walk on took on the Mattapoisett rail trail a little while back, I have been meaning to make it back there but havent as yet.
Mattapoisett Rail Trail runs west to east for approximately 2 miles with paved sections through woodlands and elevated bridges over sensitive coastal marshes and beach. It connects directly to Fairhaven’s Pheonix Trail’s 4.5 miles so you can bike, walk, or jog for over six miles on this flat, easy path.
This day I think I did most of the Mattapoisett portion of the trail, but didnt make into onto the Phoenix trail.
you may remember from my previous post there this is the spot I had issues with both my camera remote and car fob battery that morning, funny thing is almost every time I have ben there i have issues with some form of battery, I am sure its just a coincidence and not ome strange phenomenom, lets see next time I make it there ;)
ITs a nice wide walkway, many part sof it with tres and such on one side and water on the other, for me its suh a nice spot to walk and so refreshing and a greta way to start the day
I got off the trail at this point and went down on the beach for this shot

this is near the same spot as the last shot looking back along the trail, apparently its very popular with both cyclist, walkers and runners, early morning when I go i have only see a couple of people jogging
