4/ Blockchain provides people with the ability to defend themselves against this.

3/ Here is where we are confronted with the potential for blockchain to solve a major problem. At the same time, we are looking at digital personas being killed by platforms, without any regards.

2/ This means that we are going to see deep fakes that make us question (or should) what we see. It also opens people up to being "conditioned" even further.

#threadstorm 1/ #web3 can be the verifiable internet. This is something that is being lost with Web 2.0. This is especially true when we consider the powers being delivered by #ai.

5/ Now it is accelerating. There is nothing that can be done to stop it. Society is far to slow to adapt. Most will get overrun by it.

4/ All of this is based upon technological history. It is clear what happens when technology enters an industry. We saw it a number of times already.

3/ We are going to see asset values collapse, causing a great deal of damage. Also, jobs will be lost as people are fired at a pace that exceeds companies revenues declining.

2/ We have two things, abundance and deflation, which are going to be the norm. While many will cheer the later, that is not the case. It will cause a massive amount of pain.

3/ How do we deal with this and what can society do about it? This is what we dive into.

2/ This is what I take on. Not only are jobs going to be affected but asset prices. Here is where trillions in assets will be lost.

#threadstorm 1/ Post-labor economics. What does the world look like when automation takes over? How do you deal with the automation cliff that we are likely heading towards?

5/ Here is where a shift in focus is required. It is also why AI is all that matters.

4/ This time, however, it will be AI agents (entities) that is the new form of compute. Tens of billions of these entities will be connected. All of this is going to cause a Cambrian Explosion of sorts.

3/ #web3 is going to be the Internet of Agents. Basically, AI will take over and compute will interact. This is no different than the original internet that connected PCs.

2/ Entrepreneurs and developers who realize this are going to get a head start. It is a race. Digital platforms will not be based upon the website.
