What a great way to hang out with your brothers. I love county fairs especially when all the farm kids show off their livestock. Memories flooded back to my country days and going to the fair and auctions.

We are at that age where we need to make life easier on our bodies, not to forget to mention our mental peace.

I feel you. I need to have something to hang onto to get up, too. 😩

Thank you so much, @brumest.

I get it, Pam. Less is better at our ages; that's why I am taking out some major areas that we can't keep up with, sigh...

I love sunflowers in late summer. Good shots of the Swallowtail caterpillar. They do often overwinter and emerge in spring. I find chrysalis in my gardens and keep them in the garage over the winter. So

Your baby Robins are adorable! Much different compared to the ones we have here in N.Y. Have a great day.

That's a shame you can't grow sweet potatoes; I know you love them. I'm hoping for a nice crop.

Congrats to your son and future daughter-in-law. Your wife did a beautiful job on the vases, and I love the fabric swirling under them.

I've done the same, Pam, when I don't have enough for a batch of sauce. Freezing releases a lot of the water, and you don't have to cook it down as long. I mainly roast them in the oven once they are prolific,

Pressure canning is so easy. Once you get over the fear of messing it up, you're good to go. There are a lot of great videos on YouTube. Red Rose Homestead is a great teacher and a stickler for sticking

Why, thank you! Yes, the blight really grabbed hold of the plants this year with all our rain. Now I'm just cleaning up the entire garden for fall.

Pam, your garden still looks good for this time of year. A lot better than mine, lol. I wish I had room for pumpkins; maybe next year I can find somewhere to put one in.

So far, I have had them come true to seed every year. I plant them all near each other, too. It seems a bit early this year for the tomato plants to be done, but I harvested so many that I'm glad they

It is crazy how quickly summer has flown by, and it is full harvesting time. Just a few peppers and sweet potatoes left. Soon we will be raking all the leaves, lol.

Aw, Clarence is adorable and clever enough to know when you want to catch him. lol Cats are wonderful pets, but I get how you feel. We decided after our last one died that we would not get any more. It

Those gardens do keep you very busy every day. Your intern must really appreciate you for doing a project for school on you and the farm. How sweet is that?

Oh yeah, she has her own toybox, but she still doesn't pick up her toys and put them away, lol.

Hahaha, yep Mika waited so patiently for her favorite toys to dry. lol

Thank you, kindly. We do love our little girl and she waited patiently for her toys to dry.
