The rainbow was a beauty for sure. That rain was hard for most of the morning, then turned to mist. It poured so hard that the frogs hid in the rocks for cover.

Oh boy! I've heard that your area of the country has had little rain. Do you like Idaho? It looks like a beautiful area to live. Your gardening must be somewhat limited with little water, then.

You're probably right, as I have a lot of red and dark orange zinnias. The bees are so busy now that fall is approaching so quickly. The nights are starting to drop down into the low 50's here.

You must be a lot colder than us here in upstate, N.Y. I still have plenty of flowers for them to enjoy.

Oh, I hear you; the bees are so busy on the squash, and that's why we can't keep up with all of it, lol.

The garden looks great even if you have lost a few plants. At least you are keeping up with the harvesting even when you're not feeling top-notch.

Wow, that is quite a large event. The balloons are so colorful. I don't think I would enjoy being in such a large crowd, though. Going up in a hot air balloon was one of my most exciting experiences.

I definitely will keep the tubers. I have some shavings I can put them in and keep them in a cool place. I know I will end up looking for more Dahlias this winter. ♥
