I'm ready to fill up the greenhouse, two more days, then they're out there. I love having the greenhouse but by June it gets too hot inside. So it really gets used a short time.

I hope you got all that invasive weed out. I planted peppermint one year, and still find it popping up from time to time. The gardens look nice and tidy, but that is a lot of work.

Well, my deer herd stays right in our back yards all the time. Soon, they will have enough to eat without destroying everything.

That is happening in a lot of areas. The deer population is out of control and I agree, they will eat everything if they can get to it. I have netting around my veggie garden high enough to deter them.

It will recover, soon the deer will eat from the forest mainly.

I may be one zone ahead of you with 6b. I can safely plant almost everything by the first week of May. Plus, I do have hoops frames on my raised beds for the veggies and can protect them if need be.
