Thank you so kindly for appreciating the gardens. I bet your grandmother passed down green thumbs to you and your mother. I don't know what I would be doing if I didn't tend to growing and caring for all

RE: Don't Count Your Chickens After They Hatch
That is so exciting to see so many chicks. I feel bad that you are losing them for some reason. Hopefully, the hens figure out the coop is a safe haven for them going forward.

RE: Lilacland - May 12, 2025 @goldenoakfarm
The Lilacs are beautiful, glad you got to enjoy them before they were gone. I noticed that you have many flowers blooming that I have yet to open, that seems odd to me considering our zone difference.

RE: Another Project Finished - May 13, 2025 @goldenoakfarm
Glad to see you decided on a good brush cutter. They certainly are a hefty bill, but so worth the investment. Love the ducks for the jeep! Stay warm and dry, hopefully your plants will do well outside.

Thanks, Pam. I mixed them because I didn't have enough violets. It came out very well and I am going to put some syrup on my yogurt for lunch today. Cool and raining again here.

I love Vodka, so I will be adding the Lilac syrup to a few cocktails this summer. I might have to pick some more blossoms to make some Lilac sugar too .

That sounds amazing too, I don’t have a Hawthorn, but would so do that too. It’s the season to be gathering early spring blossoms.

RE: We Now Live on A Bush Block - Everyone Should
I hear you! Sometimes I wish I had planted certain things when I bought my home many years ago. Everything would be so mature now. Well, The next owner will enjoy them like you said. 🤣

Mika was lying on the grass while I was washing the porch off. She didn't like getting wet from the overspray. lol. Those shades keep the porch nice and cool when the summer heat arrives. I have been enjoying
