It is hard to tell the difference in the bees. I have those big borer bees always trying to make holes in the porch beams. I love the bumblebees and love to pet them when they are warming up in the morning

We hope it kills the bugs too. The pond is a major source of water for the birds, frogs, and critters. We were very careful to not get any insecticide in the pond water.
