RE: Smith College Bulb Show - March 13, 2025 @goldenoakfarm
Wow, so many gorgeous bulbs to enjoy. You really captured the feel with the photo of the entire greenhouse. It looks lovely! I wish I could grow tulips, but the deer decimate them.

Isn't it wonderful having a constant supervisor. Larry is always on the job! I have Mika as my constant supervisor. Your surrogate granddaughter is getting so big. ♥

RE: Garden Journal: 50% Still Progress
Thank you, I don't have pests to worry about since I am in the greenhouse, but I could see where you might considering your climate. I started mine two days ago, now it is time to wait for the harvest.

I hear you! I do use dumbbells and try to get a little exercise in but raking and cleaning out gardens uses a whole other set of muscles. ;-)

I think the seeds have the determination to survive more than we give them credit. It is always a blessing to see them survive and become beautiful plants for us to enjoy. The plants all look so healthy.

I started a bit too early this year too, I should have watched the weather pattern more and then waited a few more weeks. The plants are getting big already, yikes!

I planted the potatoes in a grow bag as they couldn't wait any longer. I will do more when it gets closer to April. I put it in the greenhouse for now. It will do fine. The temps keep fluctuating so much
