If only we could listen to the stories those trees tell, I bet there would be some doozies. I love how different they look and you got some great photos.

Congratulations on being here for 7 years! But most of all for your recent engagement, woohoo! May you both share a wonderful life together. Loved this! (Alas, we can only smile, be grateful, and thank

Oh no, the carbon monoxide beeping. That is enough to make one go mad and thank goodness they did not charge you for checking the inverter. Wow, I feel bad you had to endure that noise for so long. Rest

I would not enjoy being in that kind of traffic at any time of day. The poem is wonderful, Edith.

You will really enjoy it, Edith. The apples make the bread so moist and delicious. ♥

Yeah, we tend to spoil each other in this neighborhood and share goodies with each other.

You will love it, I am sure. The apples make it taste so moist and sweet. Here is a post I did for Lemon Zucchini Bread a few months ago. This is another great-tasting version to use Zucchini in.

Yes, you would. All the neighbors enjoyed the apple bread.

I have never added a sourdough starter, I will definitely do that next time as I always have the starter on hand. Thanks for the idea. Be sure to give it a go as you would love it.

You are getting a lot done on the homestead. I bet you will be happy to have all the gardens put to bed for the year. Plow on the truck, yikes! Perhaps snow will hold off for a long time yet.

It is often difficult to adjust to the major changes taking place as the old ways disappear and larger corporations take out the mom and pop businesses that were so integral to the neighborhoods. I feel

I enjoy seeing how the clouds change from season to season. Soon they will be huge and billowy with the winter months coming.

Clouds are intriguing, for sure. I have a lot of photos of them, too, but I always forget to share them. I love sunrises the most, with their pink and orange hues in the early morning. That cloud formation

Those clouds were the only ones in the sky above my home. The rest was pure blue open sky. Love the clouds.

Here is my entry for round 207, thank you.

You're making good progress on the mulch! That is a huge job.

Your sister's story was wonderful and I'm glad she found her visiting on the phone delightful instead of a chore. How precious for them both and your mom loved your blog posts. ♥

It is so easy and delicious too! I make a lot and freeze it for later, I just don't cook it all the way.

Thanks Edith, I look to the postive side of life and roll with everything else. ;-)

We still have a lot of leaves that haven't started yet. I know we will be raking soon enough. lol
