RE: Chiseled By Life's Lessons!
Ah, dreams tend to change often throughout our lives. Youth is wonderful for creating many different ones, then those turn into choices which lead us down different roads that create our reality for that

RE: Fragrant Tofu Coconut Curry - Plantbased: Hive Top Chef
I had to print this one of Lizelle as it looks divine! I love curry so this will have to be made this fall at my house. Thanks for a great idea.

RE: Making NEW Raised Garden Beds
I am raised bed envy right now! I wish I had a larger one just for the onions and garlic. I have to find places between other plants to grow them both. Limited space can surely cramp a gardener's desires.

RE: Oh! What a Beautiful Day! - October 12, 2024 @goldenoakfarm
Your trees have beautiful colors this year. Ours are just now starting to change here. The park looks great and such a fun place for the kids to enjoy the decorations. Nice finds at the tag sale and that

Thanks, Pam I prefer to make things from scratch as much as possible. I don't do well with preservatives and the odd chemicals in processed foods. This was fun to make and you could add whatever you want

RE: Market Friday: a trip to town to fix the flooded water pumps.
Yes, I think she (Denise) may have had some issues with health, but that is just what I felt. She loved her home and living in Virginia. She traveled so much and seemed so content. One never knows, but

I too have the thornless variety and you do have to keep on top of them as those trailers root everywhere. I have mine kept in check by my local deer population here in western, N.Y. I see you are from

RE: Mid October annual garden update
Those darn bugs love brassicas and the only way I have found to ward them off is to use insect netting on the raised beds. It really helped to get a nice harvest. Perhaps next season you can try to do

RE: New plants for my garden
Wowza! You have a lot of planting to do. I know you are going to have fun. Too bad your soil is not right for the fruiting trees. You will find all the perfect combinations to enjoy in your garden space.

Gosh, they are so adorable together. Momma and Jerry are always together. Too bad Patty doesn't snuggle in with the group.
