RE: Village People
What a great trip down memory lane for you. It is always sad to see the original homes replaced by huge hotels and skyscrapers. It looks like a lovely area still.

You captured the dead man's fingers very well. I also love the orange mushrooms and have never seen them before. ♥

All the plants and gardens are looking so good. I am certainly going to have to make that chicken salad, it sounds delightful.

Right, I am always finding ways to use the food in better ways. Freezing lemon slices makes daily use so much easier.

I agree wholeheartedly, nature and breathing in the peaceful vibes can do wonders for one's mental and physical body. Glad you listened to your inner guidance and went for that walk. ♥

I don't find any difference between the fresh or frozen lemons. I keep them in the freezer a whole month or more. We go through them pretty fast so I am always making another batch. It does make it easy

It was a good day in the kitchen. The zest I use in baked goods, on top of muffins, and often different recipes for dinner. It adds a bit of zing to the food.

I have never had cassava but I am sure it is a delightful root to have. It looks so easy to grow and harvest. Enjoy!

Wow, that is a lot of rain. We have had some every few days and the plants are growing so fast. I can barely keep up with supporting them in between raindrops. lol

Yes, you will!!! With all the rain lately the plants are growing so fast. I have to tie some more twine on the peppers before they start fruiting. I hope you're feeling stronger.
